…ولأن إنتخاب ملكة جمال الإغتراب اللبناني هو قضية وطنية لبنانية، لذا سارعت مجلة وإذاعة الليبانون تايمز وفرع الجامعة اللبنانية في هيوستن تكساس لإبراز جمال وحضارة لبنان، دون النظر الى الأمور المادية والتكاليف الباهظة التي رافقت الانتخاب والحفل لأننا نؤمن بأن الجمال هو جمال الشكل والأخلاق وجمال الروح.. فالجمال لا يموت وكذلك وطني. لذا ارفع هذا العدد الى رئاسة الجمهورية اللبنانية والى رئاسة مجلس الوزراء اللبناني والى وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين ووزارة السياحة والى السفارة اللبنانية في واشنطن للإطلاع على تفاصيل الحفل الذي اقيم باسم لبنان وجماله. كما أرفعه الى الجامعة اللبنانية الثقافية في العالم، ولبلدية ضهور الشوير وعين السنديانة في لبنان، والى جميع المنتشرين اللبنانيين في العالم صارخا الجمال لا يموت.. وكذلك وطني لبنان لأنه وطن الجمال
Since the election of Miss Lebanese Emigrants USA West Coast is a Lebanese patriotic affair, Lebanon Times Magazine & Radio and the World Lebanese Cultural Union – Houston Chapter shouldered the full responsibility swiftly and without any hesitation. The aim was to showcase Lebanon’s beauty and civilization regardless of material considerations such as the exorbitant expenses that come with pageants and related festivities. We believe that beauty includes physical beauty, spiritual beauty, outer, and inner beauty. Beauty is therefore immortal, as is my homeland. That is why I would like to dedicate this special edition of the publication and present it to the President of Lebanon, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Embassy of Lebanon in Washington D.C. so they may know the details related to the celebration that was done in the name of Lebanon and its Beauty. I would also like to present it to the World Lebanese Cultural Union, the municipality of Dhour Shweir and Ayn al-Sindiani in Lebanon, and to the Lebanese Diaspora in the world. I would like to raise my voice high and say, “Beauty is immortal, and so is my homeland Lebanon, for it is the Homeland of Beauty”.
