This is a true story of motherly love and sacrifice…. She is, after all, is the ever-flowing fountain of love…
The Rescue teams arrived after the earthquake… the worked on the house of a young woman, and saw her lifeless body through the rubble, but it was in a strange position. She was kneeling and bent forward as if in prayer. Her body was leaning forward with her arms under her as if holding something. The house had collapsed on top of her and crushed her back and her head, and it was very difficult to reach through to her. The head of the rescue team inserted his arm through a narrow opening to check on the body, in hopes she may still be alive. Her cold body proved her death beyond doubt.
The rescue team then decided to move on in their search to nearby houses, but the head of the rescue effort felt a compelling pull back towards the house of the dead kneeling woman. He pushed his head into a narrow opening that led to under her body and suddenly heard a child’s cry and he shouted out, there’s a child!!
The whole rescue team worked together to carefully remove a pile of rubble from around the dead woman… they found a 3-months old baby wrapped in a blanket under his mother’s corpse. It was clear that she had sacrificed herself to save her son when the house started falling around her. She covered him with her body and stayed with him till she died. The tiny boy was asleep when the rescue team reached him and carried him away.
A paramedic arrived quickly to examine the baby, opened the blanket and found a mobile phone in there with him, and it had a typed up message on its screen. It said, If you can stay alive, please remember that I love you!
The rescue team cried when they read the message.
