The Magazine’s front cover has the title of Lebanese Beauty. Indeed, the beauty pageant Miss Lebanese Emigrants – West Coast will take place in Houston. The chosen beauty queen will get to travel to the city of Dhour El-Shweir in Lebanon where she will represent Texas and the West Coast at the Miss Lebanese Emigrants Worldwide pageant.
Youth and Beauty are all yours. Therefore, if you are Lebanese or if one of your parents is Lebanese, you are between 18 and 25 years of age, please feel free to participate. All you have to do is visit our website www.mlewc.com and fill up an application form.
We will contact you soon thereafter and we will be happy to explain it all to you. We will talk about how you will be trained to sail down the catwalk and stand onstage and all other different aspects. You will be trained to participate in a group dance performed by all the candidates. You will be introduced to the panel of judges. Please note that during the 4 days that precede it, you will be a guest at a hotel in Houston, where you will start your training, all at the expense of Lebanon Times Magazine & Radio and the World Lebanese Cultural Union.
The chosen Queen will receive many valuable gifts and will get to travel to Lebanon at the expense of the aforementioned organizers.

In this issue of the Magazine, we wished for Beauty to be foremost on the front cover and even the back cover. We consider the Miss Lebanese Emigrants Pageant to be a national matter, which reinforces ties to Lebanese roots. Today we propose to turn the formula on its ear, by exporting Lebanese Beauty back to the Homeland of Beauty, Lebanon.
